Welcome to our Roost!

We would like to welcome our new placement student Rebecca Cairns from Queen’s University Belfast
Rebecca will be answering the bat helpline in Northern Ireland and giving advice to the public if they find an injured/grounded bat and any other bat related query. It will be her job to make sure the query is handled by the right people. Welcome to the Northern Ireland Bat Group Volunteer Team Rebecca, we are delighted to have you!
Rebecca says:
“My name is Rebecca Cairns and I’m 22 years old. I am currently studying Animal behaviour and Welfare at Queens University Belfast. I wanted to complete my placement at the bat group because I love bats and admire the work done within the charity both to help bats and also to educate people about them. “
