Want to help bats in 2018?

Volunteers needed in Counties Fermanagh, Tyrone and Armagh

We are looking to recruit new volunteers to help with our bat rescue programme this year and as you can see from our map we really need volunteers in Fermanagh, Armagh, Mid Ulster and Newry areas. Free training will be provided starting in March 2018 for ambulance drivers.

Volunteer mileage is covered thanks to the Northern Ireland Environment Agency

Our rescue records are shared with Centre for Environmental Data and Recording – CEDaR to help protect bats from development.

Bat rescues also provide us with the perfect platform to educate the public about bats and bunk all of the myths surrounding them.

If you or someone you know is interested just drop us a line at [email protected] and we will fill you in on how to become a member of our team.
