Join us for a night of roost counting at the amazing National Trust, Springhill, Magherafelt.  We will begin with an indoor classroom based session which looks at bat species, detectors, quiz and how to carry out a roost count.  The practical session will take place outdoors and you will see how a roost count is done.  Refreshments will be provided. Free event for National Trust Staff and members of the Northern Ireland Bat Group.  New roost count volunteers will help provide important records in Northern Ireland as part of Bat Conservation Trust’s National Bat Monitoring Programme.
