Join us at Creggan Country Park in July celebrate all things wild when their popular event returns again  – just in time for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race arrival.

We will be on hand to show some of our rescued bats and debunk the common myths that surround these amazing mammals along with some fun batty activities including bat mask and kite making.  Our information stall will show visitors how they can make their garden a better place for bats with a real ‘bat garden’ on display, leaflets, stickers and other batty goodies.  At 9pm we will deliver a bat talk and lead a bat walk around the lake so that visitors can see Daubenton’s bats perform their amazing acrobatic skills.  Booking essential for the bat walk email [email protected]

Debbie Doolittle’s Wild Life will allow visitors to get up close to nature including a rescued fox, owl, rabbits, hedgehogs and birds.

Visitors can visit other wildlife information stalls including Ulster Wildlife and North West Red Squirrel Group and learn how they can help protected species and take part in some fun interactive activities.
