  • Adoption of a new constitution for Northern Ireland Bat Group
  • Re-election of the committee

All members and friends are most welcome to attend, but advanced booking is required for catering purposes. E-mail secretary@bats-ni.org.uk.

Constitution

To comply with new Northern Ireland charity law, The Northern Ireland Bat Group registered as a charity with the Northern Ireland Charity Commission during 2015. We have had a solicitor prepare a new constitution which reflects the requirements of current Northern Ireland charity law. The new constitution also more clearly defines the group’s decision making processes and our capacity to own property. A copy will be sent out in advance of the AGM for your consideration.

Membership

The annual membership fee for the Northern Ireland Bat Group of £10 is now due and can be paid at the AGM of by post to the Honorary Treasurer. We would encourage everyone to renew their membership. Membership also provides insurance cover for members while they are involved in any Northern Ireland Bat Group activities. Anybody who joined after August 2015 is considered to be a member for the remainder of 2016.

Voting rights

Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend our AGM, but only members can nominate or vote in the re-election of the committee.
