The bat survey season is upon us and if you are interested in bat surveys but don’t know where to start, you could try the sunrise/sunset survey on behalf of the Bat Conservation Trust.

The sunset/sunrise survey can take place at dusk or dawn and you don’t need any previous experience of bat surveys.

The survey can take place between April to October

You need a pen/pencil, torch, watch

Survey either starts at sunset or one hour before sunrise.

You spend an hour in your garden looking for bats and other nocturnal creatures.
